Demi's Reps Deny Drug Use Reports

Yesterday there were some explosive new details regarding Demi Lovato and why she really entered a treatment facility. Sources were claiming that the actress was being treated for excessive drinking and cocaine use and that her dependency on these drugs became stronger following her break-up from Joe Jonas.

Well, Demi's reps are denying those rumors and have released the following statement:

Demi Lovato is not in treatment for drug or alcohol addiction. As we have said since she entered treatment last week, Demi decided to seek help for emotional and physical issues she has battled throughout her life."

She has taken this step in order to get her life in order. While we know many are interested in Demi and her life, we do ask for a modicum of privacy during this difficult time.

Very well. But they didn't deny the existence of a video filmed last December that shows Demi partying hard and doing lines of cocaine!

Whatever the reasons for Demi's treatment, we hope she gets better soon!
